Gloria, 70, is a low-income senior living in North County. Recently the circuit board on her furnace was broken and temperatures at night were well below freezing. With no heat, Gloria turned to using multiple space heaters for her main source of heating.

CENTENE VOLUNTEERS BRING HOPE AND HAPPINESS TO DOZENS OF LOW INCOME SENIORS

Just recently, Centene volunteers painted the recreational room at St. Andrew’s of Jennings affordable housing community. Seniors living in this community typically live on just $11,000 a year. After paying rent, purchasing groceries and vital medications, little disposable income remains for fun and outings.
